Listening to a podcast where Mark Hoppus is a guest and he said he saw a trailer for the new Halloween movie and it looks insanely good (He also has not seen any of the previous Halloween movies as of last week when it was recorded), but still makes me even more hyped than I already was. Didn’t know some people have already seen footage, when do y’all suppose we’ll get a trailer?

Are there any big June horror releases? That would make the most sense.

Tried to go see Truth or Dare tonight but my MoviePass glitches out on me. So now I'm just watching Friday the 13th at home

My girlfriend and I went to see a quiet place last night. It had its issues but it’s definietely the best pg13 movie (especially horror) I’ve seen in a while. Despite us going to the movie tavern, the audience was well behaved

I’m so jealous of everyone who had good audiences for AQP
I saw it with one of the worst audiences ever, the girls in front of us legiterally spoke through the entire first half hour of the movie, not even trying to whisper either

    I hate that.

I saw it at Alamo Drafthouse in Dallas. A manager asked a guy and his girlfriend to leave about 15 minutes in because they wouldn't stop talking and laughing.

The servers warned everyone before the movie to be quiet or they'd be asked to leave. They also had a special AQP menu for quieter eats. No popcorn or anything crunchy. It was pretty cool.

Yeah my showing was filled with teenagers and people who apparently don't get the memo u need to silence ur phone before a movie. Worst part is one of the phone ppl was my brother in law and I died of embarrassment when it went off. Like is this ur first time at a movie???

My gf and I tried to be strategic. We went to the latest showing in a somewhat college town so we figured most people would be out drinking which ended up being true. The theater was basically just couples

I saw it for the first time last year! Worthy of the hype and some of the best practical effects of all time.

  16. I saw it last night in a theater. I'm not sure what to make of how one of the character's sexuality was dealt with but other than that there's a lot to love. The version they played is the uncut that has scenes in Italian as well which were never dubbed in English, which was part off putting, part adding to the humor of an already pretty funny film. Soundtrack rules of course and a couple really fun deaths

  17. I wonder what Al A. Peterson, the Smooth Criminal, would think of that portmanteau

yea, half the fun of giallo is its ridiculous production value, half is the death, and then argento just creates the strangest landscapes.
