Yeah I believe so! Act fast though cause I just went to get tickets for my date and all the discounted tickets are already sold out

 

I just realized it’s the same day as Slayer, which I’d rather go to, but thanks for the heads up!

 

There's a $13 ticket deal for Slayer too I think someone mentioned it above

 

Rings of Saturn is the on the Attila tour

 

I'll admit they're a band that goes through the motions live but they always sound great and the crowd always goes nuts for them

 

Aka these venues are a bit too big for a band like A7X.

 

Ugh why? They're so boring live and their only remaining original member doesn't even like showing up for live shows anymore.

 

Friday the 13th deal.

 

Aka we gotta fill these lawns somehow and ticket sales are prolly slow so why don't we run a "holiday" special?

Ummmm. A lot of businesses, including tattoo shops, actually do $13 dollar sales on Friday the 13. But keep pretending that you actually know how things work.

 

I get that entirely on a small business level, but is Avenged Sevenfold an amphitheater-level band at this point? IIRC, they were having trouble filling up arenas in major markets during their last big touring cycle a few years ago.

And larger venues also run promos like this all the time when ticket sales are slow for a particular show. For example, I saw a BOGO sale on Facebook for a Hatebreed show in Milwaukee at the beginning of the month(?).

 

Might as well make $13 a ticket on lawn sales now rather than $0 a ticket for people that either wouldn’t go or that would use vouchers for free tickets in a couple months

 

And it’s definitely about filling these shows, otherwise the $13 ticket deal would’ve been expanded to include a lot more shows

Oh absolutely.

Their first two albums are pretty solid, imo

 

Avenged Sevenfold can pull well in big venues in the right markets. Every other summer, they play a casino's outdoor venue in a C-market about 10 minutes from my parents house, and they almost always sell it out. This one I think is tricky because I don't think Prophets and Three Days Grace have enough pull as support acts to justify it, personally.
