So I never really clicked with La Dispute before, but tonight I'm listening to their debut for the first time in a long time and this is actually amazing. Damn, maybe this'll be the year I finally get into mewithoutYou too.

well, you’ll probably think the debut is trash by the time you get to the end of their discography, hah

 

i dont get the debut hate. its angsty af but it's still a top tier album imo

 

It’s meh. I don’t hate it, but they went on to much better things.

 

I think it has a few really good songs but overall it's just ok. Wildlife and Rooms are both much better in every way.

Vancouver is ok if you are into that kind of music. It's definitely their worst record tho.

 

I have a buddy who swears Vancouver is their best work. I haven’t listened to it once.
