Got my first song written and recorded today! No lyrics yet, but I’m happy with it. My amp at home fucking sucks though so I’m probably gonna get a new one in the next day or so.

What are you leaning toward?

 

Honestly, I’m going to hopefully get the same amp I’ve used for the last 15 ish years that I recently had to get rid of because it finally bit the dust. All of my “full band” songs I’ve recorded were with that amp (a solid state Crate GX212) and I was happy with the results that I got on those recordings.

After that amp died a few months ago, I bought my friend’s Line 6 Spider IV, but after getting familiar with it, I fucking hate it. Haha!

Someone from around here is selling their Crate GX212 for $100 bucks online so I’m gonna try to grab that, assuming it works and shit.

 

This is exactly what I've been looking for, something to motivate me to try something new musically and force myself to get out some work. Count me in, although my "EP" will probably only be 3 songs if thats okay.

 

So um, I just happened to be trying to learn all the parts to Camp Cope's "Done" when this was announced. I might have some new material for this after all.

 

Been looking for an excuse to try some new stuff. Count me in.

 

Aw crap, I've been doing the drums all wrong. Oh well, I guess I gotta relearn it.

 

I'm soooo excited about the turnout we have so far for this!

I've actually been working on an EP for the past two years or so that should be finished in this timeframe haha. I get the feeling that's cheating though...
