Played Dialogues while i was on the treadmill tonight. First shrine track ive played with headphones and i got goosebumps from it. Can't wait to play the whole album with headphones.

 

I haven’t sent them my receipt for the vinyl yet. These guys deserve all the money.

 

I finally checked out Javelin, Consequence and Panicked Leaps the last two especially are great tracks. Had not heard any of them yet. They added them to the Empty Vessels release on bandcamp.

 

They're on the radio right now. Not sure if they've already played some songs or not though:

Any upcoming shows or tour plans?

“At the moment we’re preparing for our record release show at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on March 31st, which we’re really excited about — beyond that we haven’t made any concrete touring plans, because the funding just isn’t there right now. We’d love to get on the road and play all over the country, but as an independent band it can be really tough to do that in a financially viable way. We’re really hoping that the response to this album will put us in a place where that becomes a more realistic option for us.”

Are they independent by choice or is there really no label interest out there for them? Seems very surprising to me that there wouldn't be any label interest out there especially since shrine is so strong. Hope they get to properly tour later this year.

 

Same here, I want to support in any way I can.

 

I think they mean they would need a serious label to pick them up. Someone who can really fund them and give them the financial support to make a living out of being a band. very difficult to get that type of label interest without constantly touring tho.. really hope they find someone though.. I think Epitaph would be a good label for them and then send them out with Thrice!!

 

Sadly we've might of already blown their chances of touring with Thrice.
