Been listening to bands this morning that are playing Maryland Deathfest in May. I came across this gem from Gutted from Hungary that I figured y'all might enjoy:

Spirit Adrift announced their first North American headlining run this morning. I remember some people being hyped about their album from last year so I figured I'd share the dates here...which I finally got around to listening to this morning. It's quite good. Dunno why I slept on it last year.

The new band Howard Jones is in is so damn underwhelming

 

Just FYI, it's the same band as The Devil You Know, they just changed the name to Light The Torch.

 

Not really into black metal, but I'm a few tracks into that Panopticon album and it's great so far.

 

Me and you are generally on the same page, digging panopticon makes sense haha

 

They're both good covers for sure, and were done by Andres Serrano, the artist behind the "Piss Christ" photo.

I was hoping Ministry would make good music again with Trump in the White House. The turntables in Victims of a Clown told me no.

 

Yeah, the three anti-GWB albums Ministry put out are all solid as hell but I'm not feeling Amerikkkant at all. Power to em though for fucking off all the alt-right dweebs and metal nerds who whine about "political correctness".

 

Like it would be fine without the turntables, that’s what took me out. Without them, it’s a decent track.
