I think people talked about this awhile back, and they came up with it probably being one or both of; fitting the album on a single LP and having a digital deluxe so digital retailers would advertise is more.

 

I can actually understand pretty well why drinking from the fountain was left off the album proper (it's significantly different in tone from the rest of the album), but I'm utterly baffled that the track the album seems to be titled off of was left off.

 

This is much, much better in high quality.

 

High quality is certainly better but this album absolutely ruled in the stream quality anyway

Man I'm coming back to this album literally every day haha. I know it's only been like a week but I don't see this pattern slowing at all

 

likewise. I get the urge to listen to it a lot more than I was expecting.

 

Count Back from TEN, and The Secret Meaning...are my early favorites.

 

It's a really fun album. Control and The Urge To Pray is so great.

 

This is probably my favorite song on it too. The drums at like 2:05 are insane, especially when you watch the video and see them being played.

 

Held off on the stream and listened today. One time through and it's really good, also great to hear it seems to get better with time for many people. Drinking from a fountain in ridiculous. So glad Saosin is back and it's great for the genre.

 

The Stutter says a Lot is a serious song, I can't get over it.

I'm gonna get a little sappy here for a minute.

Saosin changed my life forever. When I discovered this band through You're Not Alone back in 2007/2008 I just needed to hear more. My taste in music changed completely because of this band because I wanted to hear more like them and, if it weren't for Saosin, I wouldn't have discovered other bands that have changed my life indefinitely such as Circa Survive, Thrice, and Thursday. Beyond that, Alex was the first drummer I'd ever listened to on a record that made me feel the urge to become a drummer myself. It's wild to me that I got to see their first show back with Anthony the night before Skate And Surf back in 2014. That show felt like things were coming full circle. I didn't listen to Saosin much more beyond 2012 because of all the other music I was discovering, but that show was such a blast to be at and I'm glad I got to meet Beau for a brief conversation after the show. It was great getting to be able to say the things I had always thought about. I just thanked him for all the music and for changing my life and to tell Alex he's a huge inspiration to me as a drummer. Like I said, it was a wild experience to see them at that time in such an intimate setting playing all the old stuff and a couple new songs.

I'm on my first listen to this album now, but I just felt the need to post that somewhere because, as I pressed play, I had all these thoughts swimming through my mind and I can't help but feel happy that this album has actually happened.

 

This album solidifies it for me: Saosin does more for me than Circa ever has.

 

I'm just glad to have a Saosin album I enjoy. Never could get into anything prior.

 

Record definitely slays

I liked it upon my first listen. Second Guesses and Control And The Urge To Pray are early standouts. I can't say I remember much else aside from the promotional singles, but I can say there was never a song that made me feel negatively so that's a good sign to me. Looking forward to sitting with this more. Very cool to hear Anthony in a band that's pretty different from Circa.

 

I'm really surprised. TTN seems really up your alley

 

Second Guesses has solidified itself as my favorite song on this record. I can't help but compare it to Mookie's Last Christmas. Anthony's melodies in this song are so unbelievably good.

 

I'm surprised when anyone doesn't love TTN.

 

ok im listening again wonder if anything will hit me.

 

Maybe I should give it another try. It's been a few years since the last time I tried listening to it.

 

I listened to this once and it's really bad or it's just not my thing anymore. I do not like Anthony's screams at all.
