So yeah, Warped for Senses Fail. Fucking hyped

 

Since Senses Fail had to push back the announcement, maybe that means a few more bands maybe announced on Wednesday?

 

Senses Fail would be great, but I won’t get hyped for them until they officially announce they’re playing VA/MD.

I’d be so cool if someone made a Mayhem Fest sized tour with Warped-esque bands. Like having four bands like the Offspring, ADTR, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Korn, Rise Against, etc. headline and then two side stages with bands like Blessthefall, TSSF, Less Than Jake, etc on the two side stages

I would love if Self Help became a tour or if they just get the All Stars Tour back and make that bigger.

 

Just another reason to check out This Wild Life on the tour. This song is perfect.

 

Most reasonable chance is someone gets a headliner or two to fill the seats (think A7X, Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, A Day To Remember, etc) and the side stage(s) would be Metalcore/Post-Hardcore bands who won't have a major summer tour after Warped.

Either way, I think the large scale touring Rock/Metal fest market will have a new competitor within a couple years of Warped ending. Even with the current state of Rock's popularity it's too big a chance to pass up.

As for the Punk/Ska side of Warped, I think that Punk In Drublic fest Fat Mike is doing can become an annual thing. However, it seems like he refuses to deal with bands who sound like they'd have done the tour after 2000 so I think there's only so much room for potential there.

 

Yeah I totally agree, I think Fat Mike will keep Punk in Drublic going but yeah I feel like the line ups are gonna be the same exact bands with just a few new Fat Wreck bands here and there like Bad Cop/Bad Cop. I just loved being able to see metalcore and punk/ska on the same show, but I guess there’s probably not a big audience that feels the same so they might have to just part ways. Maybe if a metalcore touring fest starts up like you said, they could have some big name pop punk bands on it, since a lot of those go hand in hand often

 

I’m not sure, but I wonder if this confirms say anything to do some dates too

Didn't someone say that Say Anything hinted at Warped on stage during that Winter tour they did?

 

My guess is Senses Fail maybe doing the whole thing considering Buddy said it's a full summer tour they plan on doing.

 

If Senses Fail does this then that's just another reason for me not to go to Northern Invasion, cause The Used, Asking Alexandria, BVB, and Senses Fail are the only bands other than DGD I have a remote interest in seeing, and they're all playing at least one of my Warped Dates.

Yeah, someone on Reddit said they saw SA on their winter tour and in between songs, Max said something along the lines of “we hope to see you all at a tour we’re doing this summer” and then quietly mouthed “Warped Tour”
