Kids got learn bad words at some point.

 

Most of them know anyway! The biggest pain working with kids is when they all start swearing to each other lol. Those lil demons will whisper them to each other so I can't hear them too

 

I really miss the feeling of being badass when you'd use a swear word as a kid. Nowadays, it's part of my everyday vernacular.

 

The lack of promo for FOUR was disgusting. Those poor boys deserved so much more than they got as far as management, support, and promotion. The progression from each album was always impressive imo so I can't imagine how much great their albums would have been if they had had more time to rest, write, and work on material. ::sigh::

 

I own The Changing of Times but I could never get past Dallas's vocals. They were just so bad

 

Yeah their schedule was definitely wild. I'm not sure that they regret the experience and they seem like they have good relationships with each other (or at least they're good at pretending they do) but I could definitely understand if they didn't want to

 

I have kids calling each other bitches and whores and saying fuck and I even had to deal with a messy n-word situation and they are preschoolers!!! It's the worst part of my job telling parents "...so your five year old told someone to fuck off and then flipped them off" and then if one does it they all start doing it lol!!

I don't swear which is weird cause I def grew up in a swearing family

 

I couldn't imagine that they wouldn't tour because of not wanting to be around each other i think it'd be the lifestyle or having to do an insane amount of touring or something else in that realm.

 

He was much better in Maylene for sure. I have a soft spot for his vocals on that album though, it was just part of the times. Super nice guy too btw, met him a few times and he was always super kind to me when we'd talk.

 

You might like his vocals on Maylene's stuff way more if you never checked out that project of his.

 

Yeah I liked II and III quite a bit. Always thought it was weird that it was the same guy

 

This band should of been so much bigger, they always put on the best live shows. The cover art for II is also fucking badass too.

Same. My copies of them went missing a few years back. Their shows were fun, oh man.

 

Best Christian metacore/hardcore act live has to go to The Chariot. Hot damn, that was something to experience.

I don't really listen to heavy music like I used to but Underoath, The Chariot, and ETID all still do it for me.

 

I saw them multiple times and still don't quite believe it. Even if I still have the scar on my shin from being tackled into the drum set by the guitarist.

 

Rachael steak just destroyed me. Amazing.

 

Like Dillinger Escape Plan is still the craziest live band I've ever seen in my life but Chariot was an extremely close second. I really miss them too. I'm not religious by any means but what I loved about The Chariot was it didn't matter if you were religious or not, it was about coming together and experiencing something cathartic that transcended religious views.

Speaking of pop music, I'm so old I saw NKOTB live back in their prime. And a bunch of times more recently since my best friend is obsessed.
