I'm playing Age of Empires II and I thought I'd be better at it than when I was a kid but omg I'm so BAD at it. How is possible to suck this much at a game?????

This is the exact question I've been asked when I played FIFA in college.

I am always at the back of the crowd at shows because I'm secretly an old ass man. Sucks though, because no one around me is nearly as into it as I am.

Every time I've tried to be at the back because of this, I end up moving forward because I'd rather be into it with like minded people than apathetic.

I did buy lawn tickets for Taste of Chaos, though.

Back row of the main crowd is the sweet spot, imo.

That's where I ended up for Underoath and it was perfect. But that was also the craziest, most involved crowd I've ever seen, period.

Saw a guy get his stretched ear torn during an UO show. That was during the Sound of Seperation cycle I think.

That just gave me sympathy pains. I've never seen anything crazy at shows, beyond way-too-drunk idiots passing out.

I was a metalcore teenager who lived in the pit. Saw a lot of injuries. Luckily the dancing at the shows I go to these days are a bit happier.

    Underoath still rules tbh

  11. If there actually is a hell, it is no doubt filled with incessant show-talkers.

  12. Yes. And their last album was their best album.

Haha, yeah, same. But I think I went to the wrong sort of shows to ever see any serious injuries.

did you get to go to the Rebirth tour? best single set i've ever seen in my life.

I started standing in the back bc 9 times out of 10 I'd get groped.

I'm taking my sister to see Haim in a few weeks. First show I took her too was a Foxing show. Got to say she's lucky to have a brother like me.

My cousin actually wrote this insane essay about the power of punk music and her relationship with me in college. She sends it to me out of the blue years later and it's all about the time I bought tickets to take her to go see Brand New, Thrice, and mewithoutYou tour in 2007 (side-note: want this tour always) and how that led to us developing this super deep friendship around going to concerts and through all of that she found Rise Against, which is the band that saved her from committing suicide (like Thrice had with me, and they're her second favorite band because of that) and I just got emotional typing all of that. I wish I still had it.

I'm seeing Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias this summer and I'm pretty excited! They are two bucket list artists for me. I think the only big artist I've seen is Katy Perry. Ready to get my dance on!

It's been 18 years since I saw Britney in concert. :scream:

I've always wanted to see Backstreet Boys or other big pop artists live. I've seen One Direction twice and it was so much fun.

I've been crazy exhausted lately because I've been working two jobs, six days a week, and last weekend I worked a third job by helping set up/break down and sell up merch at a day long yoga festival. Anyway, I finally got offered a full time office job today so now I can be slightly less exhausted, have more money, and drop the terrible restaurant job I have. I'm feeling incredibly relieved.

I didn't count crj since it was in a smaller venue but her show was so good! I was pleasantly surprised by how good she sounded! And she didn't waste like a thousand years talking between songs. She just got in there and slayed
