Love Dayton! A lot smaller than what I was used to in Cleveland, but it so close to so many other cities, and going to school at UD was an absolute pleasure. Glad to see some Dayton blood at Chorus!

Nice! I don't go to UD (I go to Wright State) but my dad did and I grew up going to Flyers games. It is for sure nice to see some more Dayton representation haha

That's awesome! Yeah, WSU is still great. Same great city. Your basketball arena has an awesome name haha. Do you know if the The Attic is still open for concerts? I used to go there for some different things that rolled through town on B-market tours.

It is not. Long story short, amongst other factors, it was shut down over the threat of a lawsuit by the parents of an underage girl getting her jaw shattered in some form a moshpit. From what I heard it was an accident and she was voluntarily in the pit but it was a bad injury that required multiple surgeries. The parents ended up dropping the suit as the venue raised some money for her but I guess it made their insurance skyrocket and they couldn't afford the rent any longer. Happened around three years ago I think. sort of a bummer, it was definitely nice having a venue that got semi-popular bands within walking distance of my house

  5. That is true! Haha Also that is awesome. UD is a great school!

Dayton will always be home for me. I grew up in Huber Heights and lived in Canton for 2 1/2 years after high school. I'm glad that I said something in this thread!

Cavs have been held up at customs most of the afternoon trying to get into Canada. Haven't seen what he actual reason is, but some of the social media videos going around are pretty funny. The team seems to be having fun with it, especially Tristan being Canadian and not allowed in.

Probably because they're wanted for manslaughter in Cleveland.

Despite the lopsided affair I've really enjoyed watching the 2 Cavs games because of the high prevelance of paint points. Been really refreshing to see players drive to the hoop. The 3 point obsession of late has been a bit tedious for me

    I don't understand the 3 point hate.

Not so much hate. I just prefer to watch contested fade aways, paint points, lay ups and dunks

There are a lot of hardwood classics on nbatv in the summer. This is just the way basketball is becoming, there are a lot of talented shooters coming into the league. I don't understand why you wouldn't enjoy that. Do you just hate that no matter how you hard you contest the Warriors backcourt they still score over you anyway?

Cool moment inside the Cavs locker room last night celebrating Lue's record for consecutive wins in the playoffs as a first time coach.

I mean, at this point my team is out of it, so now i'm just looking for exciting games. And seeing the Raptos be so completely overmatched just isn't my cup of tea. No judgement on anyone else, just not my thing.

I know it's been talked about a ton before but in a hypothetical world it would be fascinating to see how good he'd be in the NFL. With his physicality he'd be a beast as a tight end.

LeBron would've been a HOF receiver in the NFL. No joke. Saw him play a couple times in HS and he was unstoppable.

That's cool you saw him on the football field. I saw him play his senior year in HS. One of those things you'll tell your grandkids about haha. He put up like 40 some points and just looked like a man amongst boys.

Lowry quoting "if you can't take the heat stay out the kitchen" when he literally could not handle the heat and left the kitchen.
