Had a dream they released Goodness pt 2 today ffs just leak already been waiting like 5 years now

 

I wouldn't want it to leak unless they streamed it

 

Oh yeah that's what I meant, would be devastated for the lads if it were to leak out illegally this close to release, but think a stream is very likely soon!

 

A leak this close wouldn't affect much

 

Yea probably not.. If it streams I hope they use soundcloud.. I don't want it to stream in poor quality

 

Are Goodness pt. 1 and 2 like, the same song in a different style, or completely different beasts?

 

Sort of different lyrics and very different arrangements, also im pretty sure they are in different keys as well.

 

They're linked...haha, hard to put it a different way than that.

I really liked pt 2 when I heard it for the second time live, but the first time was a bit weird ngl. Really think in the context of the album and when I get familiar with it it's going to slay

 

Both songs they've released were streamed on Soundcloud, and they looked like they were going to be a part of a whole stream on Soundcloud so I bet they do.

 

I'm kind of nervous to hear Goodness Pt 2 after some of the comments in here. Seems like a bit of a divisive song

 

Personally I think Goodness Pt. 2 fucking rad and I loved it the first time I heard it, even better live. It is admittedly quite jarring at first, though.

 

I don't like pt. 2. Probably doesn't mean much coming from me anyway, but it's one of my least favorite songs on the album.

 

I don't know if I speak for everyone who has commented on it but I think the main issue is people have obviously heard Goodness Pt 1, so when they hear Pt 2, even though it's similar it is a bit of a shock. It's not bad at all, just a bit surprising and jarring.

 

Interesting. I can handle a surprise, haha.

 

Spoilering this for people that don't want to read is I think pt 2 is really bad. I heard it before I heard pt 1 too. The beat is awful, and it never seems to go anywhere. Probably one of my least liked songs from them. The Housebroken of Goodness.

 

Hmm fair, will be interesting to hear the studio version, but do you mean like flat out bad or bad in relation to the rest of the album/the band's other material? Because like Housebroken is the worst on Home but is still a decent song compared to a lot of other stuff, but bad compared to the rest of the album imo
