I haven't listened to Sister Cities in about a week or so. It just came on when I was listening to Spotify on shuffle and I legit thought it was Bayside for a few seconds, before realizing it was the new TWY (duh).

Still really love the song. Especially that the production sounds so much fuller/clearer than their music has in the past. My only gripe with the song is that I wish they would have changed up the chorus at the end. They repeat the "I'm laying low... We're sister cities" line a few too many times.

 

For anyone who has done VIP before (or Nick), I see it was mentioned that VIP is roughly an hour before doors. Are we brought back outside and then let in again for early entry, or do we just stay there, given that it's relatively close to public open?

This will be my very first TWY headliner (though I've seen them a few times as openers and on Warped.) Unfortunately, none of my friends are as big of fans as I am and aren't willing to travel down to Mass, and they don't play Maine. This time I said screw it and bought a VIP ticket for myself and I'm just going.

 

I went to VIP at Starland Ballroom during the 2016 tour. If I remember correctly, we went inside for the pre-show session, which was about three songs, then we lined up for the autographs. We then staged in the lobby at some point while they got everything prepared, then came back into the main show area to wait for the actual concert to start. GA was only allowed in after everything VIP was said and done.

(I tried to put everything in the right order & even asked my wife, but there is a slight chance my memory has things switched up)

EDIT: VIP had seating/standing preference over GA regardless of my warped timeline.

We usually have to put you into the lobby or back outside for a minute so the rest of the tour can load on stage and the opening band can soundcheck. I want to say you'll be able to toss stuff in your car, but I don't want to be wrong.

I also want to say that VIP might be a little more than an hour before doors even if I said otherwise earlier. It's been a minute and I'm forgetting the exact timing. You'll definitely get an email with all the information and I'll have more info when I talk to my TM soon.

I'm still so amped for WNDR SZN, like I cannot wait for the show in May. It's going to be my first concert in over a year so that only makes me anticipate it more.

 

I'm surprised and bummed they're not doing one at Wax Bodega

 

That’s so awesome. Definitely going to catch one of the performances in Chicago.
