Man she really does sound stellar on this song

 

Yeah, both parts of the song are good. I found myself enjoying the first part more because it was so different.

 

Get total Joanna Newsom vibes from the first half

 

doesn't look like support is announced yet for the philly show and i'm losing my damn mind!!!!

philly show is probably going to be a special support, it's hometown and sort of on its own, probably a unique opener

I can't get over how good both of these songs are

 

Fuck me the guitar work in these two tracks. The warbly tone in the first verse of “How Simple” and the slight (yet huge) groove change in that repeated ascending riff at the beginning of the second ‘part’ in “Not Abel” are both so small but so effective

 

spot on here, something I never thought I'd say about a Hop Along track but am very happy that I get to

 

gonna hold out on any new singles til the record. i'm already sold. what i really need is to know when they're hitting the Bay Area again

 

songs sounded really good when i saw her solo a few months ago

 

so this is where the good thread is

 

just got Painted Shut on vinyl this past week and its crazy to think they are literally the greatest band on this planet.

How I feel about Frances Quinlan is quite similar to how many feel about Beyonce.

 

Every time Not Abel comes on shuffle or something, I think it’s a Big Thief song for a couple seconds. SaddleCreek needs to get these two to tourtogether.

 

PSA this is out in less than a month and I am so excited
