I have and it was awesome. I bought one of those soda stream things.

Bad management in retail? Why I never...

 

I considered a career in it. I love working with customers and making sure people are satisfied, but the money is not there and the hours are horrendous.

Honestly, same. I had a chance to move into upper management at B&BW, got the inside scoop on pay/benefits, and reconsidered. Unless you're the store manager of an A+ store, the money is not worth the stress/shit hours.

 

I made waaaaay more money waitressing than I do in my career right now. I was really good at it but that shit ages you very quickly. I was 25 going on 70 when I quit.

 

Yeah, in my full time job, I think I make more than my BBB store manager. lol

 

100% of the time every time, when I want to say "Bath & Body Works", I say "Bed Bath & Beyond". Every. time.

 

This is me. And because this is me, my sister almost got an unexpected gift card for Christmas last year.

 

I actually have this problem with Best Buy and Bed Bath and Beyond. It doesn't make any sense, but swear to god I always say BB instead of BBB and confuse everyone

 

For someone who is perpetually hesitant to adopt new technology, the idea that as of tonight my exercise program is linked to my calorie counter which is linked to my Fitbit is kind of terrifying.

 

Whenever I'm paying close attention to calories, I find myself losing weight but also being angrier all the time.

 

I have to. I'm going to die at like 35.

 

I'm spending my Sunday night drinking whiskey, eating ice cream out of the carton, and watching Scrubs. Don't ever let anyone tell you that your life is over when you have kids. I'm still living it up.

 

I start some military boot camp thing tomorrow. My sister is making me. I get 1500-1800 calories and she shut me down pretty quickly when I asked if I could eat just desserts if I was within the range of the calories I could consume.

 

A friend of mine used to eat 1200 calories, then burn that many doing cardio after work, then drink another 1200 calories that night. He lost close to 130 pounds using this method.

 

im glad i dont have to work tonight. sundays and mondays being my days off is pretty nice. working friday and saturday night isnt the best but i dont really go out much anyway. im just glad to be working so much, money is coming in and i am going to save save save....but also treat myself too haha like i did just buy myself a 2ds and pokemon omega ruby....but that only cost me 5 shifts worth of tips, ill make it all back from tips i make tuesday-saturday

 

On the plus side, you would've had some dope candles and lotions

 

I'd give anything to be that guy. I gain 5 lbs just from looking at food.

 

i have no idea what my caloric intake is but it seems that i only ever lose weight, especially since i stop eating when i get stressed haha.

 

I almost died tonight and I'm still kinda paralyzed by it. Some idiot speeding down a 2 lane highway the wrong way causing me to have to swerve in the other lane and hope no one else was there. No one should be drinking and driving at all, much less at 9pm on a Sunday.

 

Same. Food is everything. I have such a hard time telling myself no.
