The new Cecil frena album is out and this record is truly, truly special. He used to be known as Gobble Gobble and Born Gold and collaborated with Grimes and Purity Ring, but this is the first album under his own name. I’ve been lucky to have listened to it for about six months now and it would have been my #2 last year. It’s a brilliant piece of eclectic, weird pop music and I really hope you all check it out.

also the new Hovvdy rules, Palm, Harms Way, few others too I’ll post later but please check Cecil out

Brian Fallon and Black Panther soundtrack.

Already listened to the Wombats which was cool. Nothing too different for them just the same old crisp Wombats. Cool if you are a fan of quirky lyrics and fun rhythms.

Dashboard Confessional. So so good. Favourite song might be the song with Lindsay Stirling.

Brian Fallon, Dashboard Confessional, Black Panther soundtrack. Also, I'll probably give a chance to the new Franz Ferdinand record.

Hockey Dad is the only big one for me today

I'll also probably just check out a few new (to me) artists after that or try to catch up on stuff from the last few weeks.

    After first listens -

    Brian Fallon's album was incredible.
Wombats is the same ole, nothing jumped out at me past the first couple of tracks.
Franz is fun, love the first track.
    Black Panther slays.
    Dashboard was enjoyable.

    Great release day!

Brian Fallon's record was awesome. Dashboard had a couple catchy songs I would return to. Now going through Harm's Way.

Was disappointed to see that new Dashboard is only 29 minutes long. Then I looked back and found out that The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most is also 29 minutes. Blew my mind, it never seemed that short!
