OMG so many one liners in that trailer priceless. Looks hilariously bad but also quite entertaining.

Here's a demo song I wrote and recorded about 5 years ago (the songwriting shows), its fairly shite since I used a drum machine and an actual fucking RockBand guitar to record on, but if anyone feels like listening I'd appreciate knowing just what level of shite it is

I've told this story many times, though I don't know if I told it to you, but this was the first new song I heard after my kids were born.

It was 2 days after they were born and I stepped out to go into the family area to call the pediatrician and schedule our first visit. I pulled up my browser to look up the number and it was open to Chorus and I saw that they had a new song to stream.
I needed a breather so I played it through my crappy phone speaker, sat there in awe for 4 minutes (that felt like much longer, in a good way) and definitely teared up a little.

haven't read the full memo/document just read some stuff on twitter.

sounds like it's about what I was expecting. which is nothing, except for cover to fire/remove/hinder the mueller investigation.

I though KJ was the one with the fish fetish?

@Kennedy have you ever seen the doc Kurt Cobain, About a son? I'm listening to the soundtrack right now borrowed it from the library. The track list is pretty eclectic

Overture (Steve Fisk & Benjamin Gibbard)
    Never intended (Kurt Cobain)
    Motorcycle song (Arlo Guthrie)
    Eye flys (Melvins)
    Punk rock (Kurt Cobain)
    Banned in D.C. (Bad Brains)
Up around the bend (Creedence Clearwater Revival)
Put some sugar on it (Half Japanese)
Son of a gun (the Vaselines)
    Graveyard (Butthole Surfers)
    Hardcore was dead (Kurt Cobain)
    Owner's lament (Scratch Acid)
    Touch me, I'm sick (Mudhoney)
    Car radio (Kurt Cobain)
    The passenger (Iggy Pop)
    The bourgeois blues (Lead Belly)
New Orleans instrumental no. 1 (R.E.M.)
    The limelight (Kurt Cobain)
The man who sold the world (David Bowie)
    Museum (Mark Lanegan)
    Indian summer (Benjamin Gibbard).

Rather than try to capture the sound of Nirvana in a nutshell, giving a history of the band, this album instead focuses on Kurt Cobain as an individual. It goes into the background of what he like to listen to when he was growing up, and bits of his own voice are interspersed here and there. The result is an album that's got a scattershot of rock styles, from folk rock to punk rock and more, and provides an interesting listen.

I have given someone the Toy Cars album in CMCS and someone gave me the TMP album in return.

haha didn't @Sheaver10 listen to Hawthorne Heights in return for you listening to TMP?

    Edit: ok good, close one.

imagine you had actually listened to that album for him and he just goes and tries to get double credit.
