I’d just love to sit and go through the stems for the whole record tbh.

Right, I could do some of these breakdowns but having the stems is what really makes it interesting.

How does that guy get the isolated parts of songs?

    Yeah, definitely.
Being able to isolate certain tracks helps with the analysis. Sometimes things just get hidden in the mix.

I’m gonna assume contacts. Rock Band etc. wouldn’t have given him the vocal tracks separately right? They’d just group the vocals into one track. Same for guitar.

I had a dream last night where Travis was at a party at my house and I got to meet him, but when I went to give him a hug to say bye, his posse shoved me away from him and he was pissed off that I tried hugging him lol.

It’s on all the YouTube comments but he has never answered

Episode 2 has been Police - magic. It’s really good too

He also added a 1.2 for blink. He forgot something he wanted to mention

  8. I have the stems to ATST and a few other Blink songs. I'll upload them all for anyone who wants to listen to them!

  9. I have over 4GB of Blink-182 stems so I can't upload them all to Zippyshare or anything right now... But here's All The Small Things, for those who are interested.

If you don't have a DAW program, I'd suggest downloading Audacity, importing all of the tracks at the same time so they're all lined up, and then from there you can mute and solo whatever tracks you want. It's fun playing around with these.

And here's Dammit, for kicks and giggles.

(PS: if this isn't allowed to be posted, let me know and I will take it down... Not sure what the rules are on stems)

    What tracks do you have?

  11. Off the top of my head, I think I have:

    All The Small Things
    Dammit
    Aliens Exist
    The Party Song
    The Rock Show
    Stay Together For The Kids
    First Date
    Feeling This
    Down
    I Miss You
    Always
    Up All Night

Pretty sure I have a couple others too

Are these from the likes of Guitar Hero/Rock Band or sourced elsewhere...?

  14. i think it's a variety of sources, but most are from GH/RB i believe.

I'd appreciate any more tbh mate, super interesting to listen to.

I've been looking for the Thrice ones they posted for TAITA (I believe) - they let people actually mix the track so provided them with the isolated stems.

    Edit:
It was for Image of The Invisible that I've found anyway.

There's a link if anyones interested.

TOYPAJ's production is so good. It passes as something that could have released in 2017.

I listened to Cheshire Cat on vinyl a couple weeks ago. It had been at least a year since I'd listened to that album. It's actually pretty damn great, aside from a few duds. I forgot how many of the songs I actually liked though. It's no Dude Ranch, but I really like it. Cool story bro. :-)

    Songs I love:
    Carousel
    M+M's
    Does My Breath Smell?
    Cacophony
    Toast and Bananas
    Wasting Time
    Romeo and Rebecca
    Depends

    Songs I like:
    Fentoozler
    Touchdown Boy
    Peggy Sue
    Sometimes
    TV
    Ben Wah Balls

    Songs I dislike:
    Strings
    Just About Done*

    * = I actually laughed out loud a few times at this song when I listened to it a couple weeks ago. But it's still a shitty song, if you can call it a song.

When that riff hits in the bridge of Everytime I Look For You...damn!

I still remember the first time I put TOYPAJ on and the way the guitar riffs layered and built up on top of each other was the greatest thing I'd ever heard haha. (It probably still is.)

  25. that's a top 5 Blink moment for me.
