So it’s recommended to give your first try without assist mode right? I wanna pick this up but Super Meat Boy broke me.

 

It's not that fun with assist mode on since there are no consequences

 

lol yeahhh after about 50 deaths I figured I wasn't meant to be that good yet

 

I realize this is now the Celeste thread, but I just got to the Rap Battle in Golf Story. This game isn't as "makes me itching to pick it up" addictive as some others (hence why its taken me a while to play through it), but its still an absurdly charming game.

 

Haha that went on for soo long. That game is amazing.

 

Really tempted to pick it up. How long roughly is it?

 

20 hours, it's phenomenal

 

i kinda hate golf games, but it does look really fun on reviews/trailers/lets plays

 

It's definitely a Golf Game though, but 2D Golf is different from 3D Golf, it's more like a puzzle

 

then your mileage may vary, but I remember being pleasantly surprised that it was like 70% story 30% golf, some of the quests and stuff you do are using your swing (usually in a pretty funny way) but very little of it is playing a full 9 holes

 

FInished Golf Story last night, what an adorable little adventure.

NOW I can throw my money at Celeste and feel better. I originally wanted to beat Cuphead first but finding the time to sit down in front of my TV is becoming less and less. I'll be able to punish myself in a more portable setting.

 

I need to finish Golf Story

 

I really messed up getting Golf Story like a week before Stardew came out and I sunk all my time into it. Really gotta go back and finish it.

 

This is exactly what happened to me. It felt good to go back and spend more time with it.

 

First 3 B-sides beat without assist, my hands hurt

 

I gotta believe I'm getting close to the end of the first one and man is it brutal.

 

word. I don't think I made it that far in so I might just restart, really adored the bit of it I did get through.

 

The dream chase sequence is my kryptonite, but I’ll get this. The dialog before about self doubt will help me power through it.

 

I am missing a couple of strawberries in Chapter 2. One each for the 1st and 2nd sections. I am absolutely stumped, but I'm trying to avoid googling the answer.

Also man, it feels so good to get back into Splatoon 2 again. I really want to play Monster Hunter: World, huge MH fan. But whenever I get some free time all I could think about is just picking up my Switch. I need the next Splatfest to come ASAP.

 

does anyone else's left joy con feel looser than the right?

This was great to read, the team seem like amazing people and I only love this more now lol. Was really nice to hear about Matt's struggle with depression and how the process of making the game ultimately helped

 

bummed that I missed it. I was going to ask if they had wallpapers/avatars to share because I found some scattered across the internet but not compiled in one place. I don't know how to get the album art for the OST either.

 

I will stop posting about this game soon but have four crystals and realized I could get into the core of the mountain and it's cray in here :|
