it’s like firefly the videogame for me. A medium sized spaceship flying through space boarded by a bunch of misfits doing odd jobs and meeting odd people. I think the reasons you listed is exactly why i love it - the crew having their own storylines and closures. And 2 just does it better than 1 imo.

 

I bought Dragon Ball FighterZ, my girlfriend bought Monster Hunter World and I started playing that, and I still need to finish Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I'm gonna be busy.

 

Thoughts on DBFZ?

 

Everyone keeps asking me if I got MHW and I’m like “I’m currently deep in Witcher 3 and Persona 5. It’s gonna be a minute.”

 

Fortnite is really taking off, I'm seeing a lot of people that don't really play games that much talking about it

Okay now my gf is level 6 mastery with cupid and almost level 20 already haha, I played a few matches but it's mostly been her and she's definitely addicted. She wants the next season to hurry up already so she can start getting FP and get all the cool stuff. Next season is still free right? @CobraKidJon

 

Yeah my lil cousin played it on my xb1 and got 5th for me. so I decided to play a few rounds after and I definitely enjoy it. Highest I got was 22nd.

Then I decided to watch goldglove on twitch play a round in a 3-player squad, and they won.

 

Is the shooting better now? It was so bad at launch

 

it's fine, but it definitely takes some practice.

 

I hope the next Battlefield has a BR mode. Their shooting is so good. I'm not a huge fan of BR in general though, doesn't fit my play style.

 

Haha I guess I'll have to respectfully disagree here, I think BF has by far the worst shooting, but I'm a Halo 5/Titanfall man.

well my upbringing was spent on q3dm7 so I wouldn't quite call me a COD kid...

But I am a grown man who loves MW2 more than most so...

 

I'm not a CoD hater at all, I just have no interest in playing their kind of multiplayer shooter. In my mind that's because it's in some ways the opposite of Battlefield so that's why I brought it up, haha.

 

I don't enjoy COD multiplayer any more either, it's just aimless running around.

I, however, adore BF1.

yes, but it's still a damn good game!

 

I can prefer other games' shooting but still really like the game. especially the fucking BOMBAST.

 

True. One thing I really don't like though is the new player dependent way of spawning vehicles. Vehicles in Battlefield are supposed to spawn independently of players. I really hope they change it back.

 

hear hear, what is it like in Battle Front 2? do they just stand around like in Halo and you can pick the up whenever?
