Agreed. How is it that a guy who takes some cold medicine is suspended 50 days, but if you beat up your girlfriend it's only a 2 1/2 week suspension? Something's not right

EDIT: I guess it adds up to a 51 day suspension if you include the days already served, but still.

 

They said in the broadcast last night that AJ Pierzynski has the highest fielding percentage of all time among catchers with 2,000 hits or 2,000 games caught or something. How is that possible? Dude is pure garbage defensively.

 

That's a lot of qualifiers and fielding % isn't that good of a stat. Also, baseball-reference and Fangraphs both have him as a positive defender throughout his career, though definitely been worse with age.
