watching sea of thieves streams and it looks fun.

 

Sea of Thieves has never interested me, hoping that some streams change that opinion. Also, if I still have Game Pass when it launches I may give it a shot.

 

I think the map design is pretty poor for about half of the maps. There’s really only one larger map with the rest being SMG/Shotgun playgrounds.

 

I really like run and gun so I like it but yes there is only one map where I use a sniper rifle which kind of sucks. There's no room to use an LMG either.

 

I deleted the game from my hard drive after two weeks, and I have no desire to reinstall.

 

Coincidently, the armored division with LMGs is my best division K/D wise

 

The draw time/reload time kills me everytime when someone with an SMG runs up on me.

 

I’m definitey using QuickDraw as an attachment with those guns and reloading is a pain, but if you have the time deploying the bipod on the LMG cuts down reload time significantly.

 

yesterday all I did was lose.

today my first 3 games of smite were all wins.

Smh world. Don't do this to me.

 

How do you deploy the bipod? Just lie down?

 

Has anyone played My Time at Portia? Thinking of picking it up on Steam and wanted to know more in-depth stuff than "it's more stardew"

 

You can do it as long as you’re using an LMG with the Armored Division. I use tactical controls on the PS4 and it’s left on the directional buttons. You have to be prone on the ground or up against something that’s shorter than your character (barrel or a crate for example). I find it a lot of fun to use, but you’re definitely making yourself a target sometimes.

Started Mirror's Edge Catalyst and my computer tells me it's low on memory. ruh-roh. Maybe if I close my browser while playing it'll be fine.

If a game has a fov slider, I don't understand why it's set to the lowest setting by default. It's like they want me to barf all over my desk.

Also, turned off motion blur. No nausea so far, but I've only made it through the tutorial.

With familiar controls, I already feel right at home, but goddamn this game is looking mighty fine compared to the first one.

 

I thought the first one still holds up! Haha

 

The first one has been Xbox One X enhanced

Also mh: world getting good reviews. Not getting it yet because RL and Splatoon 2 getting in the way but as someone who’s played MH for years, I highly recommend it if you need a timesink. The armors alway look cool, and every monster is interesting to fight against. 14 weapons to choose from but chances are once you pick your weapon you’ll spend the first 200 hours mastering that. Each weapon feels incredibly diffrent so that’s even more replay value.

I’ve had 2 MH games where I used hunting horn probably 75% of my game time. And I’ll probably still do HH when I get World
