Reminder: Thrice is the best band working today.

 

If they wrote an awesome record via file sharing, imagine how dangerous their Epitaph record is gonna be now that they've spent a great deal of time writing together. Eddie and Teppei are really gonna shine on the next record (as a response to TBEITBN).

 

I hope all of that is true. Let the boys rock out a little bit more on this new album.

No more Blood on the Sand / Wake Up / Black Honey trash

 

Black Honey smacks wtf

 

I love Blood on the Sand and Black Honey. I don’t dislike Wake Up but it’s my least favorite on the album.

 

With ya until you slandered Black Honey which is a fantastic song. Blood on the Sand isn't too bad either, but not great. Sounds great live though.

 

Every time wake up comes on, I imagine dusting singing 'wake up sheeple' unfortunately.

 

I really liked TBEITBN. It kinda had a nice mix of Thrice things, and some really strong songs.

 

Same. There were a few cringey lines throughout the album. It was a bit disappointing because I've always been a big fan of Dustin's lyrics.

 

Yeah, the only worse Dustin lyrics than on the latest album were on his first solo record. Really weak stuff from him imo. Bought the record from a scratch and dent sale hoping it would stick with me, but eh, not really.

I love doing that.

But in all seriousness. I liked the last album more than Major Minor but I think the next one is gonna be their best.

Hoping Dustin brings his A game lyrically. And teppei gets some leads that don’t drop out during the chorus. And the breckenbros get to go real grunge heavy on a few tracks.

While Wake Up isn't my favorite song, I still enjoy it, and besides, the album also has two of their best songs in The Window and The Long Defeat

 

I liked the last album but it is easily my least favorite of theirs, save for IC of course.

 

MM will forever and always be mine.

 

The closer is also a beaut

 

Is the expectation now that the tour cycle for TBEITBN is winding down? I know they started writing for whatever comes next. With that being said can we look to a late-2018 early-2019 release?
