I make some French toast where I put a pinch of nutmeg and a pinch of cinnamon in the batter. Soooo good

I've never had it soaked in custard. that sounds too weird.

I've made with cinnamon raisin bread though and that was amazing.

oh yeah I was picturing frozen custard haha.

also if it's soaked for that long, that's what makes it soggy. has to be a quick dip in the custard otherwise the bread soaks up too much of it and it gets mushy.
