Fortnite Battle Royale Video Game

Fornite BR is a battlegrounds game in the style of PUBG or DayZ where youre dropped onto a giant map with 99 other players and must scavenge around for weapons, ammo, resources, etc a charming cartoonish art style and a more welcoming, though not any less engaging, gameplay structure separate it from the crowd, as well as being F2P and constantly getting updates that add new content.

This game continues to just explode and im really happy for it. i really really enjoy playing it solo but id be super down to play it with a group of people too. i play on PSN CoffeeEyes17

 

i love watching my roommate play but anything that's not a sniper or a shotgun feels so, so bad to me when i play. i'm also bad at shooters though.

PUBG is too stressful for me so I love BR. It actually gives you a chance to fight back most times lol.

 

do any of yall play the PvE mode? i literally never hear people talk about it lmao. the BR mode is more than enough as far as entertainment goes but i was just curious. from what i understand the PvE mode is also going F2P sometime later this year.

just won my first game! it was wild and basically boiled down to positioning since once it got down to 5 of us the storm had shrunk so much that 3 guys got caught out in the storm and died while i killed the last guy 1v1. i think i ended up with like 5 kills that match. it was a blast though, its so fucking thrilling.

im getting back on soon i had to rest my eyes a minute i dont think i blinked during the entire game.

the more i play this game the more i love it. i won my 2nd match and it was thrilling.

all of the guns feel so smooth and handle so well and they all have such....idk personality to them i guess. i really like the different tiers of weapons and how theres different types of each weapon for different situations. barring the rocket/grenade launchers the other weapons are well balanced and can all be useful for coming out on top.

i need to get into the habit of building more, theres been quite a few times where ive caught myself thinking "damn i wish i could get up there" or "fuck ill have to go back downstairs and then over to that other building" when instead i could just build a ramp or a bridge and save myself time.

 

i'm still haunted by hiding in that shed with my perfectly placed trap when BAM a group build a staircase and came knocking their way in from the roof, definitely gotta build more.

 

I've learned you really need to build to be able to truly experience and win this game.

my co-worker is a purists and is all "building sucks just shoot and win" and I'm like yooo that isn't fun at all.

 

The most fun I've had playing a multiplayer game in a long time after years of COD.

Have won a few times in squad with buddies.

Awesome, awesome game.
