Honestly, not sure if I could stand to go to one of those, I've only ever heard horror stories about them haha

 

I fucking hate when artists treat Hershey Park as the DMV date

Like that's a fucking terrible venue and the drive is awful

 

for me this is very hit and miss.

Opener is absolutely appalling but I knew that going in. Similarly I don't like HOLD ME TIGHT much.

That said, Last of the Real Ones and Stay Frosty are cool tunes.

 

You are definitely listening in the wrong order if you think the opener is appalling yet think Stay Frosty (the opener) is a cool tune

 

My Spotify has Young and Menace as the opener and Stay Frosty as track 3...

Phew. The Spotify tracklist is horrible. Opening with the worst two tracks in the album NO

 

No pit whatsoever on the first leg of the MANIA Tour, it was 100% reserves. Hoping they’ll change their tune on this leg - FOB really needs GA. It killed the vibe and these songs go too hard for that kind of setting.

 

Really enjoying this album. Will be a great summer record.

 

yeah i love this but still can’t stand Champion. rest is good to great.

 

I like this a fair amount. Hold Me Tight and Champion are the two I'm not that into and Young and Menace is still my favourite but I really like the rest too. Not sure if I'll end up liking it as much as AB/AP but we'll see.

 

strangely, Stay Frosty does nothing for me. can’t even remember the hook after one listen. maybe it’ll sink it’s teeth in on another spin. i love Heaven’s Gate.

 

Heavens Gate might be the best song this band has released in years

 

I knew Wilson reminded me of another song and I just realized it's Paper Planes (MIA).

 

After one listen I really liked this. Young and Menace is a lot better within the context of the album as well. Will definitely give it some more listens.

 

Yooooo maybe we can get some The Damned Things songs live at the ETID dates haha.

This is definitely the best album they've made since Folie. Blows the last two out of the water, I think, and I do enjoy those albums. Right now Wilson and Bishop's Knife Trick are my two favorite songs but I legitimately love everything on here. Bravo boys.

 

ETID on tour is so great. What a bloodbath that'll be.

Anyway, very frustrating that the wrong track list was pushed to streaming services, it wasn't super apparent, but still. I don't think that the album grabbed me as immediately as the other two post hiatus albums, but I enjoyed my first listen. Wilson is such a great song.

 

This is immediately better than AB/AS. Heavens gate is a fucking all-timer.

 

I just made a playlist on my phone with the songs in the right order, and will use that until the album tracklist is fixed. Never even listened to it in the other order.

 

After two listens to the full album, Heaven's Gate is actually my least favourite song on the album. Seems to be a lot of people's favourite. Maybe I'm weird.
