Hmm I might have come close with some Game Boy (and GBA), N64 and GCN games as a kid. I played a lot of Bad Company 2 but no way it was a thousand hours.

 

Doesn't count really but I dread to think how many hours I've spent playing Pokemon showdown over the years

 

Pretty sure there's a menu in Overwatch that tells you how many hours you've played.

 

oh man, I miss showdown a lot. But I do not want to get sucked into that game again.

Maybe I do.

Anyone think that Skyrim on Switch will get a discount or sale anytime soon? I really want to get it, but I can't justify purchasing Skyrim at full price for a FOURTH time.

 

Yeah I haven't been addicted for a few months... Maybe it's time to start again lol

 

I fell into that competitive Pokemon wormhole for a while and it's amazing but it takes over my life too much lmao

 

yeah towards the end i got so burnt out but it was incredibly fun before that. from a non-pokemon player's point of view I can only imagine how boring it must be looking at 2 (or 4 in Doubles) semi-animated 2D sprites doing generic battle animations to each other lol.

i hope when pokemon switch releases enough time would've passed that i can start enjoying competitive again

 

Probably not in the next 3 months. But that's just gut feeling. It's still in the best selling games list on the eShop.

 

Maybe it's because I know what's going on behind the scenes so to say but competitive Pokemon is literally the only "eSport" Iike watching. It's so crazy lmao

 

I think the most time I’ve ever put into a game was Socom 2 for PS2. All day, all night lol.

 

yeah definitely the mind games. they can get pretty intense.

i enjoy watching Sm4sh as well, and I only watch because I'm bad at it lol and I really like the game. My favorite to watch hands down is Magic the Gathering (although technically it's not an eSport).

Pokemon is literally the only online game that I enjoy/have been addicted to

 

I don't really want to start a whole thing about this, but I just wanted to say that Horizon's Frozen Wilds DLC is the best DLC I've ever played. Yes, even better than The Old Hunters.

 

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but Darkest Dungeon is now on switch and I'm going to play the fuck out of it

I'm not sure I have a favorite DLC. I have vague memories if liking some Fable DLC a lot but that could all be in my head. One of those Mafia 3 DLCs is very good. Also, Ballad Of Gay Tony.

 

I loved the Witcher 3 dlc but then I just love that game in general

what about it is better than the main game if you can answer that in a non spoilery way, lol. I still plan on getting back to that game at some point but had no intention of ever playing the DLC.

 

i don't think i've ever surpassed 300 hours on a game. except maybe on one of the dumb phone games i fill my commute and desk time with. the last game i really went ballistic on was the 250 hours it took me to 100% Hyrule Warriors. i have vowed to never pick up another Musou game.
