Well if there was another season it's rightfully dead in the water now

 

on the one hand his immediate text apology seems like him at least responding correctly after getting called out for his behavior and he could've legitimately misread the situation and have been poorly equipped by society to understand what is acceptable behavior, but the more I think about it he's old enough and from his own accounts has enough experience dating that the same situation had likely played out multiple times before. Apology is quite possibly just a go to "say the right thing to the victim, but don't actually do any reflecting or change your behavior so don't prevent the problem from happening again in the future"

From that story alone, it seems like that behavior was something he was used to getting away with. Very disappointing. Hope the woman gets the healing and closure she needs.

I can't even look at anything about this anymore, the "WHY DID SHE GET IN A CAB AND GO TO HIS PLACE THEN HUH? HUH?!" people have come out in full force. As if once in a date's house a person isn't allowed to change their mind and decide they'd be more comfortable ending the encounter than proceeding.
