I definitely recall from Sleepwave era interviews and such that Spencer was at least questioning his faith, if not abandoning it altogether.

The only members that I know for certain are still Christian are Aaron and Chris. Tbh, i’m not surprised because those two guys are way back from the 2nd album when the band was fully devoted to God. Christian or non-Christian, it doesn’t change what the music means for me and my anticipation going forward. I can get more godly influences from secular songs than faith-based songs.

    Hey. Supporter

Kill The Music have been pretty reliable in the past, if I remember right. Seems plausible.

Fearless seems like an interesting choice. Tentatively stoked nonetheless.

Not to get on a tangent... but don't support Kill the Music. Don't want to derail this thread, but that's all I'll say for now. Good on them for getting this scoop, but definitely not a site that's worthy of your support.

i figured they’d either release this on their own or go the route of copeland with independent production and then work with Solid State to distribute.
also wouldn’t be surprised if the empty store is just an apparel relaunch, they’ve done some limited merch launches over the last year or two. they did run a everything $10 sale a few weeks back to clear things out.

I think the most exciting part is I have no idea what to expect Underoath to sound like in 2018.

also the new Thousand Below record has some serious TOCS/DTGL vibes; a bit derivative but highly recommended for good hooks and excellent screams

Disambiguation was an extremely high note to go out on. Hopefully it’s a continuation of that. Also holy crap I can’t believe that album is 8 years old.

A friend of mine recently worked with a guy(videographer or something like that) who worked with the band last fall. He said the band is sitting on a new album, mastered and everything.

EDIT: that’s why I said I was 99% sure they had a new album a few weeks ago; the source is 100% reliable, but you never know what might happen

if thats the case, are we expecting an announcement soon with a quick turnaround for release or are they gonna play the waiting game and it turns into like july

I assumed it was happening when they updated their social media shit.

But if you follow everyone on Instagram, you’ll see that Tim has been up in NC a lot lately, where Spencer and (I think) Aaron lives.
