I have been to Aladdin’s, but i just got pasta haha that was a pleasant review though

Was gonna say exactly this.

Also tonight alive are definitely worth checking out. Last album i didn’t care for as much but they’ve got some catchy tunes.

 

@teebs41 will love this Typhoon record

And how long it is. But I think Gang of Youths might be a good touchpoint for this band/album for some people in this thread, like @Colin Your Enthusiasm

Soul-influenced country/singer-songwriter stuff, but with a clear, though not over-bearing, pop sensibility. Chris Stapleton co-wrote some of the songs, one song is a Willie Nelson cover. The use of horns and soul influence remind me of Sturgill Simpson's A Sailor's Guide To Earth, which I also loved. Ryan Adams also guests on the album, and you can hear some influence from him as well.

It's currently making me feel warm and fuzzy inside on this cold, dreary day in Chicago.
