for real, how was there never a Mario hockey, would be so much fun

 

I would just like a remastered collection of the Gamecube versions of Baseball/Strikers/Tennis/Golf for Switch

 

True, because they stumbled right into what they avoided with Metroid, haha.

Though fans are dumb, as if Pokemon would eventually die with the 3DS.

 

There was a hockey side-game in Mario Party 5 that was really fun! It felt like they were thinking about making a full-fledged title but decided against it because it might not sell that well.

Nintendo Direct Mini 1.11.2018

 

Direct is solid. Was way over hyped and for a mini direct, theres a lot of good stuff in here. Super stoked on Mario Tennis. Probably the biggest announcement for me.

 

Oh man that Mario Tennis game looks great. Also super excited to finally play Tropical Freeze!

I'll probably end up accidentally breaking my joy cons while playing Dark Souls.

an rpg mode in mario tennis again plus some new TWEWY content, even if it's not a full game, are pretty much dream announcements for me

 

Is TWEWY being updated with new HD artwork and stuff? If so, definite purchase for me, never got to play it on DS. Wasn’t that game super touch screen focused? Will be interesting to see how it plays on switch.

 

there was a mobile version that had HD assets and the direct mentioned that there are still touchscreen controls in addition to plain traditional controls so that's still an option at least.

It definitely has remade art.

As far as controls go, it appears to have the touch screen controls plus newly added... motion controls? That what I assume they mean when the specifically say "Joy Con".

 

It would have been nice to see a new world in Odyssey, but the rest of it sounds really exciting.
