I'm waiting also, the two songs I heard are enough to hype me

This is out there... really digging it so far. A lot more instrumental diversity than the two singles would lead you to believe.

So I skipped right to the Andre 3000 track and can't tell you how bummed out I was to find out he was only in the last 45 seconds of the song.

Most NERD albums are pretty hit and miss to me but... this is quite good.

Holy shit, this is 50 minutes of pure energy. It feels like it's a half hour long, in the best way. So, so happy with this. Possibly their best album straight through

I'm a huge fan of The Neptunes (and whenever Pharrel makes Neptunes-like beats) as producers, not so much of N.E.RD. Next to Lemon, which I love, I enjoy 1000, Lightning Fire Magic Prayer (mostly because of the beat), Rollinem 7's, Kites and certain parts of Secret Lifes Of Tigers and Lifting You. I doubt that I'll go back to a lot of these songs though, besides Lemon. The rest is quality music made by professionals that doesn't grab me at all, like most of Pharrell's post-In My Mind solo songs and old N.E.R.D. songs.

I listened to this the first time the other day and wow Kites is such a great song. Several others on here I really enjoyed too, but Kites is definitely the stand out for me.

Yeah Pharrell and Kendrick trading bars on that song is something special

Also, this debuted at #31 apparently... I knew NERD was never that commercially popular but I thought this would do a lot better

    Listened to this today.

Lemon and Kites are good, Don't Don't Do It is fantastic, and Rollinem 7's is absolutely terrible until Andre 3000 comes in.

Most of this album is insanely bland though.

    Fun facts

Thundercat plays bass on "Deep Down Body Thurst", "Voila"
A$AP Rocky is actully the one at the beginning of "Kites"
Cara Delevingne provides backing vocals on "Secret Life of Tigers"

Chad is only credited on 3 songs while Shay is only on two, "ESP" and "Secret Life of Tigers" where he actually provides vocals, but isn't credited. This is definitely the most Pharrell-solo of all the N*E*R*D albums

I've always had a foggy idea of what Shay actually does on the albums besides occasional verses. I was initially disappointed with how seemingly little input Chad had on this but this has quickly become probably my second or third favorite NERD album

I saw somewhere that Pharrell said somewhat recently that Shay's keeps everyone connected, and grounded, or something like that. Kinda cool actually, haha

"Don't Do It" demo w/ Frank Ocean leaked, too bad he didn't make the final cut!
