I hate the college football playoff currently - it should be 8 teams

I think Auburn should be in the playoffs, I also think Ohio State and Wisconsin and UCF should have been in it too

Counterpoint to "win it all and you're the best" is the Giants beating the Patriots. Split their 2 games that season, and the remainder of the season is undeniable proof the Pats were WAY better. One and done playoffs are inherently bad for "proving" anything.

But if you are in the conversation for top 5 and beat two other top 5 teams to win it all..you can call yourself the best

 

Bama can recruit literally every position but kicker.

 

Kid will have to transfer, to be quite honest.

 

That still isn't a good reason for why the deserved the spot over UCF.

(Also in an 8 team playoff, USC gets in over Wisconsin (or maybe Auburn). One All the big 5 schools should get a least one spot)

Much of that has to do with the kicking recruit pool more than anything else, I'd presume.
