I feel like this season came and went very fast. I think it would be a great show to watch weekly rather than binge.

I stretched this season out for about two weeks, which is still a relatively quick watch, but I thought allowed me to digest each individual episode better than if I were to just binge through it

There's a specific episode with a specific piece of music from a specific artist and that was the moment I knew that this was the specific show for great things.

Yeah. It's not as dramatic as I make it appear but the scene doubled with that music was perfect.

    Keep on the sunny side.

I always tell people who haven’t seen it to stick with it through Season 1 Chapter 3, and they’ll be hooked.

One of the best school dance scenes ever, and there have been some good ones.

Okay I've been too sick over the last 6 days to give my deeper thoughts, but feeling a little better now so...

---Okay so this really does capture nostaligia in a crazy way. Like, it literally has me over analyzing if kids these days are missing out on innocence and adventure and imagination due to technology. Like, kids just aren't that innocent at that age anymore and it kills me, this show reminds me so much of the fun I used to have going on "adventures" and shit. Idk.

---The actors are all so great and it kills me that they have to grow up lol. I want them to stay this age and look this way for ever because I'm selfish. David Harbour is great as Chief Hopper too. I still remember him as Elliot Hirsch in The Newsroom lol.

---I'm such a sap, but this is literally me with Mike and Eleven
    [IMG]

They're just so damn cute and I just want them to be innocent and have young innocent love forever and it just gives me all the happy feels. I damn near cried when they were reunited and again at the Snow Ball. It was crushing at the end of Season 1 when Mike realized she was gone.

---I know some people had an issue with Episode 7 of season 2, but I didn't hate it. I kind of want them to explore 8, and #s 1-10 honesty, but at the same time, I kind want to concentrate on the Upside Down and the shadow monster that is still looking to take over. If given a choice, I'd rather learn more about the Upside Down and how it works and what the monsters really are and etc.

---Just literally can't stop the fuzzy cute feelings over the kids and Mike and Eleven

---Omg Bob. Kind of assumed from the start of Season 2 that he prob wouldn't make it, but damn. Rider's reaction was awesome too. I read through some of the thread after and saw people were hating on performance in S1, but I thought she crushed it.

---The mystery and intrigue of Season 1, with the lights and everything, is pretty tough to beat. Season 2 didn't quite get to that level again when it came to that stuff, but it was about as good as it could be IMO.

---I learned through this process, my first in which I binged this many episodes of a show for the first time, that I hate the binge. On one hand, it was nice to get the "OMG WHAT HAPPENS NEXT" out of the way, but it felt like it took away from the theorizing and dreading and the rush to talk about the "big moments" with everyone else in your life and on the itehrnet because everyone's experiencing them at the exact same time and etc. Like, if this were a normal week to week show, that moment at the end of Episode 8 where Eleven walks in and her and mike see each other would have been all anyone talked abotu for an entire week. IDK....I just think I decided binging is not for me.

I agree with all of that. Especially for people in their 30s, this show hits the mark with the nostalgia in so many ways.

Between watching this and reading Paper Girls, I just want to take a day, leave my phone at home, fill my backpack with snacks, and go for a directionless bike ride to see where the day takes me. But you know, adult stuff sucks sometimes.

They’re not filming for season 3 yet, right? Just wondering if they’d surprise everyone with a short teaser during the Super Bowl today like they did last year.

Finally got around to starting season 2. Nancy’s drunk bullshit scene in the bathroom in episode 2 was uncomfortable to watch lol

There's a game coming out in 2019 that draws HEAVILY from Stranger Things. I'm very excited for this, hope it's something special.

The reaction to that scene has been so polarizing. I feel like people either think her acting was amazing or terrible. I thought it was great, but I've never been a drunk girl before.

I'm with you on this one. I always feel immense pressure to binge so that I'm not totally out of the loop when people are discussing a Netflix show's latest season, but I hate it. I actually like the weekly wait, it gives me something to look forward to and keeps everyone watching at basically the same pace. I also have definitely experienced the problem where I feel like I retain things better when I watch them weekly vs. binging them. But this is what the people want, instant gratification, so this is what we've go I guess.

Extremely, painfully bad scene. Her performance feels like she’s never seen a drunk person in her entire life. I saw the season once during Halloween time and this scene stands out in my memory as the worst in the season/show lol
