yeah i remember this. very very disappointing. i dont think Mikey ever like....cleared the air or apologized about that stuff did he? I think I remember Gerard condemning it on twitter or something but aside from that I dont know if the band or Mikey or anyone ever publicly acknowledged it or apologized or anything which is fucked tbh

 

I remember the Mikey cheating on his wife thing but was there more to it than that? Of course it's absolutely terrible and I actually forgot about it until right now, but I never heard anything further than adultery

 

I just knew he was cheating with a younger fangirl and I think she accused him of some stuff like drug usage. I don't condone cheating but if someone does it I don't think theyre like irredeemable necessarily. But when it's with a person much younger who is a fan so the power dynamics are a mess, I think that's super messed up and I have a hard time getting passed that.

 

So how old was this woman that he cheated with then?

MCR has always committed 100% to every one of their projects so imo they’re gonna commit to this breakup at least until 2023

 

they are going to play one show where they play Welcome To The Black Parade, just the song not the whole album, then walk off the stage
tickets will be $500
it will sell out immediately

 

And I will be attending.

 

They are one of like the two artists where I don't care if it's across the country, I'm going.

Sometimes my friends try to convince me to spend money and I'm like but what if mcr reunite and I need to buy plane tickets!!!

 

i have some money sectioned off in my savings account specifically for if/when MCR reunite because i too would fly pretty much anywhere to see them even just once

 

That's a good idea maybe I'll start a MCR savings account.

so over the weekend, my friend who is a local drag performer in Pittsburgh held a pop punk night at the legendary Blue Moon, and they even took my suggestion for one of the performances. my apologies if you hear me singing throughout.
