Also, hello, my peeps. Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend, whether you celebrated or not.

 

I say “I don’t have the energy for that right now” or something similar. That usually works and they probably understand (because they don’t get mad and ask me again anyway), maybe because they can relate.

That said I am a very outgoing introvert.

 

I couldn't pray before a meal because

a) I have weird temperature issues with food. like if its a hot dish I gotta eat it hot, so I couldn't let it sit there chilling whilst someone blessed it or whatever. cold pizza can GTFO

b) I'm an atheist

 

I eat all of my dishes lukewarm. I let them sit out until they cool or warm enough that they're room temp. That's safe, right?

 

I'm eating cold pizza right now.

The other day I did food prep for the week and left like 6 meals of chicken & potato curry on the counter for about 20 hours. That was an expensive mistake that made the trash smell v good.

 

Cold food warming up is probably the worst way to go. Especially drinks. I will down a cold OJ in minutes because fuck that warm OJ life

Cold pizza is better than fresh pizza.

But honestly this is probably because I'm used to being alone and not bring able to finish a pizza myself, I'm not crying youre crying

 

I know cold pizza is a Thing but I'm not a fan of any cold leftovers

 

yea I'm generally against leftovers to begin with and pizza is a particularly hard sell for me; don't understand it at all

 

Cold pizza is far better than it should be, but it’s not better than fresh pizza, that’s silly. In general, I like my food piping hot.

It doesn’t matter what thread, it always comes back to food.

 

Not all of us can live on the edge though, risking our tongues to fulfill the fantasy of a piping hot meal . Some of us aren't allowed to use the microwave either due to previous fire related entanglements. So cold pizza is our zen and morning star

Don’t get me wrong, I love cold pizza, but I’ll take hot pizza over it.
