I scored an SNES for xmas. I never had one when I was young, but it’s crazy how dated it all is. Some of it is still cool, but Star Fox is basically unplayable.

has anybody played Rayman Legends on Switch and is it a good port? It's on for $24.99 down from $60 here and I might go and snag it

Started Rayman Lengends last night, I highly recommend it.

 

Played it for a bit on Wii U but totally forgot about it and only played the first couple levels, definitely buying it after work. Thx y'all

 

I'm also thinking about picking this up. I've heard only great things about it.

You said earlier there was post-game content, are there just more side quests and stuff available now?

 

They show you this little video of the world after the last main mission in which some NPCs seem to be up to new stuff, pretty sure that opens up a few new side quests. I remember something happening in the spooky world but I might be wrong.

 

yeah, I saw the video but didn't check anything out. wasn't sure if it was just a "where are they now" montage or not, but I'll see soon enough

 

Did you do the indoor mini golf thing? Took me until after the main story to figure out what to do lmao

 

Yep, didn't figure it out until way late in the game also though so don't feel bad haha

 

It's definitely worth $5. I first saw this game in Mark Brown's video about 5 Game Innovations from 2016. The way the game handles conversation is really neat. Interesting story too. It took me 4 hours to beat... but there's multiple endings and ways to change things once you've played through it once.

 

Steamworld took me a bit to get used to the constantly darting back above ground but now I'm getting the hang of it and am pretty into it

That being said I really wanna buy Blossom Tales, nindies are gonna kill me

 

Damn, just got an email alert about the Super NES classic available on Game Stop’s website. Normally I’m too late to act on it but this time I was able to add it to my cart. As I’m about to enter payment info, it says listing is modified or no longer available. Does that mean I just didn’t complete payment quick enough? When I go back to the link I can still add it to my cart.
