The only thing great about going there was living in the newer buildings. Can't remember what they were called, but they were basically the highest on the hill. I lived in Hillside one year and hated it. Just glad I never lived in Towers or whatever the hell they changed the name to.

High Mountain East and West? I assume you were in West since you mentioned the highest hill. I was in East. Were you there when they were doing construction near Overlook and had the fence at the bottom of the 160 degree slope hill? I tried to impress a girl by sledding down that hill

 

Ended up being a mistake (I'm even hesitant to call it that. It's not like I slacked off that semester) that cost my parents like 16k in savings and me at least that much extra in loans. My parents are just being able to get their savings back where it should have been 10 years later. And I'm going to feel guilty about that pretty much forever.

And for what? What the hell is the selling point for grade deflation?

 

I was in East, but spent a lot of time in West. I don't think there was any construction going on. I basically fell down that hill when I was inebriated once. Took a hell of a bump.

My time there was basically spent with the girl's soccer team. Loved them ladies. It's been about six years since I was up there.

Funny story, I was at one of their parties one time, and this girl I didn't recognize came in. Everyone was giving her hugs and celebrating her being there. I just dismissed it and thought nothing of it. Turned out it was Sammi from Jersey Shore coming back up after filming finished. She was nothing like the way she was portrayed on tv. lol

 

@Henry That's so funny you mention Sammi. I looked out my window one day after hearing she was on campus for the soccer game and saw her being chased by some people

 

What really sucked for me is that my parents made too much money for me to qualify for grants, but they didn't have the disposable income to help me pay for school at all. So I have about four semesters worth of debt that I couldn't pay until they started taking 20% of my income. Something like 28k and nothing to show for it now

I thought I'd introduce myself here, I'm not totally sure where else to do it. I have a little trepidation about posting here because the community is so much smaller than AP, and I didn't really know anyone on AP that well to begin with (I'm N. Hall there). But those of you I recognize from AP are really great. I'm grateful for the opportunity to post here and hope I can contribute something positive.

Right now I don't have a whole lot else to say so I guess I'll plug the band Nigel & the Dropout, a really great indie/electronic duo from Detroit. I've followed them around six or seven years now and I really, really dug their 2015 release, Folderol. I reviewed it on AP and I think you can get it free from their bandcamp.

So pumped to see some wrestling tonight. I thought I'd be disappointed is be missing the WWE event tonight, but nah.

 

Isn't that WWE show going to have a Kevin Owens/AJ Styles 30 minute ironman match? That's gonna be insane.

 

I get Matt Sydal vs Jay Lethal. And Dalton Castle. And Young Bucks. I can always watch that tomorrow. I'm sure someone at the show will be spoiling it anyways.

@Kiana There is a doc about Misty Copeland on Netflix. It's title is A Ballerina's Tale.

 

So excited to be going to my first wrestlemania in a few weeks, atmosphere should be nuts. Heard good things about AT&T stadium too

 

It's actually kind of cute how much y'all like WWE or whatever. I had no idea people still watched or that it still came on TV.
