Damn lol I haven't revisited some of the songs on here since like 2 weeks after this came out. Gotta listen again.

 

Is he releasing this on vinyl?

This I’m my AOTY. Crazy hearing people didn’t enjoy the entirety of it.

Laziest release

 

I just saw it on vinyl today in a store. The regular one not the backwards one.

 

Yeah I've seen the regular one all over the place. Need to pick it up

 

Yeah, I have a signed regular one already.

 

Most of the year later I'd say I stand by my initial reaction which was more or less very good album, some incredible highs, but not quite at the level of GKMC or TPAB as a complete work of music. I could easily do without XXX, Lust, Loyalty, and Love. But like I said, the highs are quite high and comprise at least half the album. Yah may be my #1 song of the year.

 

Whilst I don't think this is better than TPAB, I do find this album to be a more enjoyable listen. It still doesn't touch GKMC though.

Also, FEEL is easily one of my favourite songs of the year.

 

DNA, Yah, and Lust are my favorites in the album. Yah is in my top 10 songs of the year.

 

Everybody still likes GKMC that much???

 

GKMC is very good, just not the instaclassic it was heralded as. Dude's made better albums, but it's not wrong to hold that album in high regard too

 

GKMC is the album that got me into the genre so I have a personal attachment to it

 

I didn't listen to TPAB as much as I have this. And GKMC is still classic imo

 

GKMC is amazing (other than the last 2 tracks which are just good). TPAB is probably his “best” but it’s the one I play the least

 

I think TPAB towers over everything else he has done.

 

My list:

1. TPAB
2. Damn.
3. Section.80
4. GKMC
5. UU

I love all of them, though. Not a bad song in any of them.

 

I think TPAB is his best album, I get the argument for Damn and I think it is close, but that's my personal preference.

I can't listen to GKMC in full anymore tho, its got some great songs but it is just does not compare to the other two.

 

It’s a good record, but I hardly go back to it and feel like it pales in comparison to TPAB. I’ve gone back to Section.80 and GKMC more than this
