The new Cloud Nothings album is still one of my favorites this year. Really connected with it lyrically and it's my favorite from them out of their last three.

This album, on the other hand, has worn out on me. Haven't listened to it since I saw them in February.

I think it's a great live song, or at least it was when I saw them, especially towards the end of the song when it's at its biggest. I actually came around to it more after seeing them perform it - made more sense to me in that context.

Sounded super empty to me live compared to on record

Yeah haven’t listened to this in months and kinda forgot about it. It still fucking rules.

I don’t care for Arc of Bar, but I mean the first 3 songs and final 3 songs are fucking glorious. Will be in my top 5 when the year is done.

This hasn't had any lasting power for me. Neither did Celebration Rock. I do enjoy both of them, and I still preder the new one, but I rarely listen to either

this album is fantastic; weird to see a lot of distaste in here for it.

This album also has "released in January" syndrome where I feel like a lot of people forgot it even dropped this year

Celebration Rock is easily the better record, but I still enjoyed this album a fair bit

Cloud Nothing's Life Without Sound was released in January and I haven't forgotten about it once

This is true, although I somewhat associate both albums together even though Cloud Nothings album is way better

Hey I have two extra tickets for Friday 7/27 at Boot and Saddle that I'm looking to get rid of for face value ($25 each). PM me if you're interested.

Show last night was great. No idea how they’re going to maintain this energy for 4 straight Philly shows.

They played two new songs towaygd the beginning that sounded more “punk” (for lack of a better term) than their other stuff. Brian had an epic crowd surf at the end and kicked down some blades off the ceiling fan.
