Do you guys think balance and composure could ever reach the same audience level as much as a circa survive or Coheed and Cambria???

Help me like this band. I'm seeing the show this Friday and my last exposure to B&C wasn't great. I saw them open for Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine in 2015 for two back-to-back shows and I just did not enjoy the set. His voice was pretty grating live. I want to be open because I know they have a lot of fans, so what album/songs should I listen to before the show in two days to give me something to hold onto?

Didn't see that tonight's Iowa show got moved to a 700 cap venue. Woof

 

700 people for circa and thrice? Wow

What size of room is it when balance and composure do their headlining shows?

 

in Chicago, it was 700 lol. But this is Iowa. Not a lot of people going out to shows there

 

so balance and composure can play to 700 for a headlining spot ?

 

Since Light We Made dropped, I've seen B&C headline at a 1,000 cap (Royale Boston), 400 cap (The Met in Pawtucket, RI), and in January they're playing the Sinclair which I'm p sure is around 500 cap. With good supporting acts, a 700 is probably a safer bet for them but with where they are right now I feel like anything closer to a 1000 cap would be too big. I much prefer them in a more intimate setting anyways especially with the direction they've taken their sound.

 

at this point, i doubt it. in terms of popularity, they've peaked. they might reach some new creative highs though.

that's the third time this has happened this tour where they've moved a scheduled show to a smaller venue (phoenix, houston). interesting.

 

Last night of tour tomorrow in Maplewood minnesota, capacity around 3500. Stoked.

 

I've seen them twice in two years at a 200 cap here. Oddly enough the show with actual support (From Indian Lakes) sold worse than the show with Roger Harvey.
