    Miles/Tee/Pruitt

If that happens honestly fire the AD again. If their best case scenario was available to them this entire time lol

I’m also seeing as much Steele chatter as that one though. I’m fine with him as DC but HC would be sad.

You can't compare coaching a football team with thousands upon thousands of fans emotionally invested in what you do to your typical 9-5, those are two completely different things with two completely different sets of rules.
Like it or not if thats the career path you choose this is the kind of stuff that comes along with it.
Also comparing college sports to your typical business environment doesn't really hold up when you consider that in this analogy the executives are the only people getting payed..

When's Taggart supposed to leave? Let's try not after less that a year and go from there.
Chip left us after 4 amazing seasons and I don't know a single Duck fan that had a bad thing to say about him or his decision.

Again, I understand this is what happens in college sports, and FSU is his dream job, but what he did was shitty and he deserves to get some flack for a while. After that I wish him well.

In what world is Florida State not a significant upgrade over Oregon?

The state of Florida is a hotbed for big time recruits.

I get that we have Oregon fans in the thread, but Fisher deserves so much more shit.

Reading some rumors late last night, I think Pruitt might be the guy.

That's what I thought last night

Also I feel like we've seen this same tweet over and over again for weeks, hopefully it's finally the one

I read this morning that a decision might not be made until tomorrow. So who knows. Just ready for this to be over with.

Seems like it's down to the Pruitt, Tucker or Steele. They all will have had two interviews after Pruitt has his second today. I can't fathom why a hire would not happen today at this point.

    Also: Pruitt >>>> Tucker >>>>>>>>Steele

Hire Pruitt. Slowly chip away at Nick Saban and his dynasty. At this rate, they'll lose two games in the regular season by 2025.

Pruitt better go get Tee Martin to be his OC

I feel like that would almost certainly be part of the plan - especially if the report is true he's asking for $$$ for his potential staff.

It would be massively stupid for Pruitt to choose Martin as his OC.

He SHOULD. But if I'm Pruitt, Martin is the last person I'd hire.

The hiring your future replacement theory or?

Exactly. Steele/Miles, absolutely. But a dude looking to "start" his career? Risky.

I'd love it, haha, but I get what you're saying from the 'if you were him' standpoint.

Oh yeah, that's what Tennessee should do. Not what Pruitt should do haha

Speaking of creeping on twitter profiles for recent follows...

OC at Ole Miss, Phil Longo has started following Washington's staff and many of its recruits over the last day or so.

SEC homers, is he any good? We just hired a new OC so it won't be for that....it sounds like Matt Lubick (WR Coach) might be leaving for an OC job somewhere (Oregon State?) so maybe he's coming as his replacement? I dunno...no idea who the guy is though.

All I really want to know about him is can he recruit?
