Is that an American thing to cheer during films? In the UK, the audience remain silent throughout the film (apart from laughter of course).

It's the one downside to going to big opening nights. i def missed a couple lines due to crowd reaction. Having not seen it again yet I can't give an example from CW, but for Ultron in the opening attack when Tony busts in and say "good talk" the first time I saw it I thought that was the end of that interaction, a couple weeks later I went again to a very empty theater and heard the "no it wasn't" from one of the Hydra guys.

The girl next to me wouldn't shut up. She wanted to see every movie that had a trailer despite a number of them being awful. That fucking shark film? Ugh.

    There were big cheers for:

Black Panther's first appearance (I was caught off guard, totally thought Falcon took down Bucky)
When Bucky grabbed the motorcycle, flipped it, and hopped on (weird)
When "QUEENS" popped up on the screen
    GIANT-MAN

Come to think of it I heard a lot of WOWS at that Bucky scene.

That chase scene might have been the most impressive in the film.

Good movie. I would have reworked the ending, but a satisfying movie experience nonetheless.

Closest I got to cheering was when Ant-Man became Giant-Man me and one of my friends I was with turned to each other and both made this face

I've never been to a theater where there was more than one or two random people reacting loudly to what's happening on screen. Even then, it's always that one guy trying to convince his friend's he's the funny one in the group. It's usually dead silent unless there's a crying child.

I don't mind crowds laughing, cheering is super dumb though.

I enjoyed the Vision and Wanda scenes as well. Down with the suburban film. How do we force Marvel to make that movie?

Other than the baby that someone brought to the theater, really enjoyed this whole movie and seeing it on the big screen. Was hugely impressed with Black Panther and how much he was in the film. Can't wait for his solo film now. Also, after this movie, Marvel should just be allow to take Spider-Man back completely hah. He brought a ton of entertainment in his scenes.

Considering on expanding my thoughts in a review for my site. If I do so I'll be sure to post it here. So many things I could say about this.

i should mention that i don't mind Wanda as a character, i just don't like Olsen's portrayal of her (i won't say i don't like her as an actress since i haven't seen any of her other work)

    So assuming that this weekend...

I saw this movie last night at a screening put on by a local comic book shop (The Comic Bug in Culver City). It was the second such screening by them I'd attended - the first was for Deadpool. Both times the theater was completely packed, and everyone was so excited to be there. We all cheered and nerded out together. I have to say that seeing these films in a packed theater with people who genuinely love what we're watching is the best way to experience these movies.

Haven't seen it yet, but this better get as much crap as BvS for announcing the airport was evacuated. Everyone that complained about the destruction and collateral damage in MoS has created this corny "necessity."
