That’s been my go-to album after all the discussion in here recently. It’s so good, and I’m guilty of underrating it.

I really hope there’s not a 3-4 year gap between Gore and the next album. Would love a new album next year.

Listened to Koi No Yokan today. Such a great album. Entombed is still one of my favorites by these guys.

Just pressed play on Gore for the first time. Excited to say the least. Diamond Eyes is one of my fav albums ever I think, but I've only just bought Koi No Yokan and Gore for some reason. Thought the first few songs on KNY were ok - Romantic Dreams was good but tracks 1, 3 & 4 didn't do that much for me - but the fucking thing kicked into super-mega overdrive from tracks 5 through 11. If Gore is as good as that then I can't wait to listen!

Diamond Eyes one of your all-time favorites and you hadn't listened to KNY or Gore yet? They will both grow on you, I'm sure of it.

Yeah, couldn't tell you why I hadn't listened yet either - laziness maybe! KNY much better than Gore after one listen each, but I feel I need to give Gore more listens as I had it on while doing other stuff.

Gore is definitely an album that takes a few listens to appreciate. I think it has some of their most interesting songs.

One of the best runs in their discography for sure.

That entire "Music in High Places" DVD is great. Watched that and Alice in Chains Unplugged MANY MANY times while getting high in college.

Yeah, I never really "got" Underoath despite loving most of their counterparts and having seen them live half a dozen times by default.

There last three albums are fantastic imo, but I can see how they’re not for everyone. Also Deftones fanbase, and Underoath fanbase are totally different I’m sure. So it would be a weird tour imo. It would have all the makings of the Thursday/BMTH tour situation possibly where all the Underoath fans pile out after they play.

Could be wrong though maybe they have more crossover appeal than I’m giving credit.

I dig both bands heavily. Would be in.

  24. Love this band dearly, got vinyl copies of White Pony and Koi No Yokan for Christmas so I've been running through their whole discog lately. Going to once again try to get into Saturday Night Wrist tonight, it has some standout tracks but always ends up feeling like such a mess to me

  25. I think I like the idea of Saturday night wrist more than I like the actual record.
