I honestly practically get offended when people refer to Tom's performances as "charm" lol. I couldn't even share a live blink video for years and years because I felt so embarrassed for him.

I thought it was this on one listen but I could have been wrong I'm no expert lol. It does sound different after watching it again.

 

29 as well and going for blink. I couldn't land pit tickets but got the next closest seated seats. Came out to about 92 bucks but Jones Beach is a notoriously expensive venue. Blink is the only band I'd spend over 20 bucks for haha. I'll go to random metal shows and pay 10 or 15 bucks cover.

 

That one sounds new to me haha no idea what that is, but that rehearsal video was pretty distinctly "Dumpweed". This video sounds like it could be one of those new throwback types of songs they've been talking about. So awesome.

I went looking for the song and there were like 4 above the actual lyric video. Ya. Blink fans.

 

Curious anyone here going to the Nashville show? Glad they're playing Nashville, this type of music doesn't show the city enough love

 

I think I counted like seven or eight covers

People drive me nuts with the covers. Blink cannot play three chords without people posting YouTube "covers", "song predictions" and "what would this song sound like if..." The worst was when that rehearsal video from 2004 came out and people "covered" the song and swore it was for DED. Those people are crazy.

 

I think it's just that people are excited, but point taken. I can see how that's annoying.

 

Hell ya, we'll see you there man! Any word on support for that show yet? Definitely wouldn't mind if it was just blink, but I coulda swore I saw adtr have that date on their site but then shortly took it down after words.

Will probably just get lawn tickets for the Scranton date and get stupid drunk. Then a day break and hopefully catch them at hershey. It's gonna be good summer.

Yeah at one point they had ADTR, AAR, ATL all on the show, I think that's how originally everyone saw what the future tour was gonna look like. I honestly don't care who the support is. I really just wanna see blink in a crowded and intimate setting for once.

 

I'm cool with people posting covers, but it's kinda weak to actually perform the song with your band at a show. Let Blink tour on it first.

 

Same dude. Have a feeling this show is gonna be crazy. I saw a sold out wonder years/the story so far show here a few years back and it was pretty cool. Even got a set list, would die to replicate that with blink.

And honestly hoping it's just blink, get right to the action yanno. Gonna see all the other bands later anyway haha.

 

Nobody in here has acknowledged that both Mark and the Blink Twitter account tweeted something like "Open letter to the fans regarding recent events", and then it was just a link to Built This Pool lol

I turned on post notifications for Mark and the band on Instagram, so I clicked on both as soon as they came through and thought for sure it was going to be a serious statement of some kind. Literally laughed out loud... hard. lol

Maybe it's because I haven't preordered vinyl in some time but is $45+ the new norm? I saw on Twitter that Mark posted they were almost sold out and went ahead and bought one.

 

I feel like there is no time of day where there isn't an active conversation going on in this thread. Kind of awesome
