I don’t blame anyone for wanting a statement from certain people, but keep in mind that these are people and they are likely hurt and impacted in ways we can’t fathom and probably have a lot of processing to do. Even if they might share some guilt for what’s happening, I think maybe we should be a little more careful than to expect certain people to respond to these situations with such immediacy.

 

If they can collectively cancel/postpone shows... they can come forward as a band as state if they knew/didn’t know.

As of right now, I only blame Jesse/hate him. But, everyday they don’t state something... the easier and more I’ll hate/blame the rest of Brand New.

 

It's harder than it seems, you don't know what emotions they're going through right now.

 

I'm having a hard time purging their songs out of my head but I can't imagine having a tattoo.

 

I'd already be booking an appointment to get it covered up.

 

Well lucky you don't have one then, isn't it?

People can make the personal decision on what to do with their tattoos and it's got nothing to do with anyone else.

 

I cannot wait to hear the mental gymnastics people are doing to warrant not covering up a Brand New tattoo.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with you though. So they can go through mental gymnastics all they want but ultimately it would be for themselves to be comfortable with keeping it or making a decision to get rid of it.

 

I think if I could go the rest of eternity without reading or hearing the term mental gymnastics ever again, I'd die a happy man

 

When did I ever say it had something to do with me? I never said I was going to question every single person I see with a Brand New tattoo why they still have it.

 

My Brand New tattoo is for my family first, it just happens to be their lyric. I'll do what I want with it, thanks.
