There is farrrrrrr less talk about this on my Twitter feed than when the PWR BTTM stuff hit. Not saying critics need to give comment but if they spend all year championing the band and their new record they can pause for a moment to at least spread the word on this as well.

I feel like the fall out of pwr was swift ...this does seem delayed

 

I think it may be because their stuff was more current(?)
Also they got swiftly kicked from their label and their music was deleted which contributed to their demise, and Brand New is on their own label so that wouldn't happen

 

Really glad to hear the current reckoning towards famous, power-abusing men has reached this scene. It's a LONNNG time fucking coming.

 

I think Brian's FB page is now completely private. I can no longer see anything. Last I saw was a lot of people going in on Andy Hurley.

 

I also heard allegations against Pete Wentz and Andy Hurley. It makes no sense for him to go private once Andy Hurley became the target of the conversation.

Hopefully, more people get the courage to speak out. Whether it be more against Jesse or any other musician.

 

I know at some point I’ll get there but right now it feels like I’ll never enjoy Music the same way again

 

The FB post is private now. Was the Andy mentioned on that post Hull or Hurley? I read it as Hull originally and was super, super bummed but saw someone else say Hurley

This is how I feel.

I can't wait to get to work tomorrow to force myself to listen to something. Anything. To get the brand new songs out of my head. It's terrible.
