The Turing Test was awesome, loved the Pneuma easter egg in it. Great story and puzzles. Perfect length too.

Also, I need a new Crysis game. Come on, MS buy Crytek already...

Also, I bought Horizon for $19.99 selected No Rush shipping for $10 in Restaurant credit and still got it in two days. THANK YOU Amazon. May fire it up tomorrow so I can put it down for 4 months like every PS4 game...sigh

Would be nice, but they'd have to do a deal with EA, since EA controls the Crysis IP.

A Crysis trilogy remaster should have happened this gen. Stupid ea.

I'm on Chapter 4 currently and I've loved the puzzles so far. Not too difficult but not too easy. The story just took an interesting turn and I'm excited to finish it.

I finally picked up MGS: The Phantom Pain in a sale the other day (I know, super late). Holy shit the prologue was intense. What are other people's experiences with the game? Sorry for ignorance, my gaming addiction comes in waves.

Gameplay is fantastic, story is nonsense, terrible and unfinished. The biggest gaming equivalent to Blue balls as an MGS fan

Ah really? That must be disappointing. As someone who hasn't played an MGS game since the original when I was a pre-teen (and consequently scared shitless of Psycho Mantis at the time - encountering a similar character in the prologue of The Phantom Pain was scary nostalgia haha), maybe I'll have a different experience through lack of investment?

I mean maybe? Bit there is no story, and it doesn't finish. As I said gameplay is utterly fantastic, so it's worth the time put in, just don't expect anything story wise. I'd say it's pretty damn confusing to someone who hasn't played since the first.

Legitimately what I've experienced so far - I feel quite out of my depth.

Yeah there's going to be characters you might recognise but not understand how they've gotten there with regards to their positions compared to MGS.

I still find that game so odd. Slight spoilers ahead but it's not about content of its story, just how it's set up.

It's so weird how the opening is so story orientated, like it's a solid hour and a half of story that's completely forgotten for the next 5-10 hours. Even then you get like one mission where ~something shows up, then more hours of ignoring them.

Oh really? Interesting, yeah the prologue was so intense and had me so hooked and excited and even the next mission after that had me feeling a little deflated and....confused I guess.

  19. if anyone is interested, we did a full playthrough of it as the finale to our 24 hour Extra Life gaming marathon, it's quite the ride.

Trying to dig back into my backlog. Returned to Horizon since I'm pretty far and now have the DLC to play. Finishing P5 will be next, then Nier, and a million other games to follow.

Same with the rest. Love how ambitious it was - gameplay is so good and the progression and Snake’s arsenal is probably the best in the series. But you can tell it was rushed and unfinished and it sucks because the potential was there.

Would be one of my top games of the year since I played it in February. Super surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

So far Wolfenstein on hard is...hard. Damn I haven't gotten very far.

I'm still stuck on the final boss! Collected everything else in the game though. Loved it, Easily in my top 5 for the year.

Edit: I don't think it came out this year, but oh well.
