Just kidding, Painwheel is super technical and very not beginner friendly. Definitely fun to use, but I'd have to spend a lot of time with her to get good.

Did Filia's story mode, then Painwheel's. Ugh, Painwheel's is really fucking sad.

My game crashed during Fukua's story mode, but apparently it's against all the characters, and the last one is set on Nightmare difficulty. Felt super long and there wasn't any, well, story. Found out later that she was like a joke character or something? Meh. Probably won't try that again.

Maria is a lot easier in Story Mode than she is in Arcade. Tried going through Arcade with a team of Fukua and Valentine to get a hang of switching and assists. Maria kicked my ass way too many times, didn't even bother.

So yeah, this is what happens when I have a week left in the semester before everything is due.

 

But gaming is life

 

One of my friends wants me to try out Overwatch, so I'll try and download it tonight. Not sure its my sort of thing but worth trying.

Also need to play the new update for DayZ, and other friends are wanting to play Table Top Racers and MW2. I might not have enough time to play Rocket League and The Show, the weekend is too short!

BF5 will be WWI.

 

Uncharted 4 be getting some highly praised reviews, I'm excited. BTW, fuck Kotaku for putting out a poor review that spoils that game. Thankfully, I just skimmed to the graphic with the review summary or whatever that thing is.

 

Overwatch is awesome (though I slightly suck at it).

Got my first play of the game with DVa and a 15 kill streak woot. Bastion is fire as well.

Trying to play as mercy and the dwarf and kind of failing. Any tips?

 

Daycent reviews for Uncharted 4

 

I want to get UC4 but I don't really care about single player games any more.

 

I'm the opposite, I don't play any multiplayer games. Uncharted 4 looks awesome.

 

I used to, just run out of time in the day now and I'd rather use my gaming time to play with friends.

 

I don't think it will be 2142. I mean that would be cool, but EA is also launching Titanfall 2 this fall, so I'm not sure if EA would want to launch 2 futuristic shooters in one quarter.

 

Luckily it has mp! Co-op is coming in the summer as well.

 

That doesnt interest me haha. Co op might be good, I'll keep my eye on it but doubt I'll pick it up.

 

Been using Lucio primarily in Overwatch. I think i'm doing pretty good but have no clue what is good stats for a healer

Is Overwatch in open beta now? If so I'm playing that today. Also I'm getting so hyped for Uncharted 4. I remember really not wanting another after 3 despite loving the whole trilogy but now I'm really glad they made a final one.

 

I didn't post lol to be rude/snotty towards Cobra Kid. I just thought it was kinda a blanket statement to say that the PS4 is only good for x amount of games. It was a bit silly for me to respond with that. I respect the XB1 library, and games so I wouldn't post something similar.

Anyways when Lightning responded with that cool-headed warning I let it go. Sorry for the uproar guys let's continue talking about video games.

 

Yep, open beta's started, until Sunday I believe.

 

I played through about 1/2 maybe? Not really sure, I know i achieved 7 trophies out of 14 so that seems about 1/2 right(although my Trophy % said 38% which i assume it just didn't update at the time)? I'll point everything in spoiler tags for my first impressions/thoughts for those that haven't played yet.

I stopped at the part where you discover the abandoned Ferris Wheel cart, should finish the rest tonight. There was definitely some pretty good jump scares, although the one in the dark building with the note on the window, I already saw in the trailer so that one was a bit spoiled. The one on the Octopus ride though freaked the hell out of me though and I didn't even see ALL of it because I had the camera positioned elsewhere looking around but noticed as I was passing by haha. The one in the Swan boat ride I was expecting more from and think I got myself worked up because nothing happened haha.

I love the voice acting from whoever plays Lorraine and like the fact that you can hear the panic/uneasiness in her voice as she goes through the park and increasingly can't find Callum. This game also reminds me alot of the atmosphere of Firewatch in the sense that you are left in an abandoned area by yourself to explore and nobody else is around which makes it terrifying. Definitely a different atmosphere and art style between the 2 but I'm loving what i've played so far. Exciting to finish it up tonight and see what happens.

My main gripe is that when you pick up the notes and items I find them hard to read because the camera doesn't zoom in far enough and the print is way too small to read, not sure if you've had that problem as well? I don't think i ever saw/heard any cues in regards to the Trophies really as you say, but maybe i just wasn't paying attention haha.

Sorry for the long post that's mostly spoilery but i'd like to hear your thoughts as well.

 

Downloading the Overwatch beta. I'm hype.

 

I've been on a bit of a PS2 era Rockstar kick.

I finished Max Payne and just started Manhunt. I never realized how difficult these games could be, especially Max Payne (yikes @ most of act 3). I didn't even touch anything beyond the base difficulty to add insult to injury.

Edit: Hoping to hit Max Payne 2 for the first time and actually finish Bully for once next.

I've been playing on PS4. I've played Bully a lot but have never actually finished it. I'm hoping to hit that next.

 

didn't see your edit, my bad. Recently played Bully myself, it was fun just a bit grindy and I was just so done and ready for it to be over with haha. Good game though!

 

My PS4 says Overwatch has been installed but when I go to play it the game still says it's installing and only lets me do the training with two characters.
