I had no idea Whisper sold that much. That's kinda shocking to me.

 

I know there are people out there who are just AVA fans, but do you think there are any +44 diehards that don't like blink?

 

I can't imagine liking +44 and not liking Going Away To College.

 

They have a guaranteed take each night that they get regardless of how many tickets get sold. From there, any additional revenue sharing (if it exists) is not going to be made public.

That's strange that it's not just an app pre-sale like the website states. I have my tickets, so it's a moot point, but I was asking the question to make sure those that were looking to do the pre-sale had all the right details.

 

I wrote them down. It's weird though because the website only lists it as a mobile app pre sale.

Never heard of Maxwell? He's a huge r&b singer from the 90s. Damn, I don't think it's guaranteed that he'll sell better but it sure will be a tight competition.

 

Time to hit social media and start premoting street team style

 

Wouldn't say its hopeless. Obviously Maxwell's audience is a little older but just looking at Spotify, the new single for his album has 1.3 million plays after almost a month while Bored to Death has 3.5 million in a week.

Lol the previous release from We The Kings sold 7,000. Ouch.

 

I can't believe it even sold that much.

 

All of my band's that I've ever been in combined have sold MAYBE 150 copies. haha. So...

Haha yeah I'd give anything for 7000 people to pay attention to my band and spend a lot of money on hearing us. That isn't something to scoff at.

 

According to that Hits Daily Double page, the new album is called California Sunrise

 

Tom used to do such crazy stuff. I'm sure a lot of people (like me) started playing the guitar after getting into blink and every song on EOTS being like 3 or 4 chords at the most made them super easy and fun to play. I love the really fast stuff he does. Like on My Pet Sally he is just all over the place. If Buddha was the first blink album I'd ever heard I'd probably be too confused by what the fuck he was doing to try and learn haha.

 

Mark misses Tom is hilarious

 

I lost it at the end. They make you focus so much on the faces aligning that you get snapped back out of the trance (exactly like he did in real life haha).

Rejected artwork for California:





Apparently Mark wasn't too sure about the artwork that ended up being the album cover, but Matt/Travis were.

Both rejected pieces are really busy, not a fan of the second one at all, but I actually really like the first one.

The 1-8-2 on the dice are a nice touch.
